More good news from Pyramid of Carstens Basecamp…and we’re happy to report that the rest Madison Mountaineering Today the team successfully reached the summit and returned to base camp safely! This marks another 100% summit success for the team. While the festivities have already begun, the team looks forward to many more upon their return Bali!

Hey! This is Garrett examine Madison Mountaineering Pyramid of Carstens (4884m/16,024ft) expedition – first in 2026.
I’m happy to report that after successfully summiting we all made it back to base camp (4285m/14,050ft), 100% successful! All six climbers, plus myself, and two local Indonesian guides made it to the summit on this trip. So we’re very excited, very happy.
Half of our team landed in a helicopter Timika (31m/103ft), our other half, including myself, hope to fly in tomorrow morning Timika!
What a great adventure here! The weather today is crazy. We encountered some snow, some rain, some sunshine, and some beautiful scenery. We look forward to descending the mountain to reunite with the climbers and then return Bali (0 m/0 ft) Have some celebrations. Alas! 100% successful.
