Is the Bagsmart Blast 3-in-1 the only carry-on travel kit you’ll ever need?

Is the Bagsmart Blast 3-in-1 the only carry-on travel kit you’ll ever need?

To be honest, I’m not interested in bags. A bag is a bag, right? It holds your stuff and preferably doesn’t fall apart at the seams while on the go, which is usually where my expectations end. So when Bagsmart Blast 3-in-1 Travel Kit Arriving at my door I wasn’t expecting much other than the basics. A few weeks later I went on a carry-on only trip and I was impressed…and that doesn’t happen very often.

This article is about my real-life experience using this kit during actual travel, daily commuting, and that active lifestyle where smaller gear tends to get damaged more quickly. If you’re looking for a functional and stylish travel set that doesn’t break the bank or weigh you down, read on.

What’s included in the Blast 3-in-1 Travel Kit?

The set includes three pieces: Explosive Travel Backpackone Set of six packing cubesand a 4.5L hanging toiletry bag. I chose black Backpack The cube and toiletry bag come in a cactus color scheme, a combination that looks sharp. Cactus is a warm, earthy sand color. It’s low-key but not boring. This color photographs well and doesn’t show all the marks.

The carry-on suit is doing its job.

Backpacks: Made for the practical way men travel

I am an office worker and also very active. I hit the gym before (or after) work, take road trips on the weekends, and travel interstate or overseas when possible. This means that any bag I actually use on a day-to-day basis needs to do double duty without looking ridiculous in any environment. this explosive backpack Pin this.

Dual Duty Expert

This is a 28L–38L carry-on travel item Backpack The expandable design means you can tighten it up for a relaxing day out, or open it up completely when you’re packing up for a week away. In fact, this is one of the most useful features on the bag. I use it in a compressed version most of the time (laptop, lunch, gym bag) and fully expanded on travel days, carrying clothes, racing shoes, and all the usual carry-on items, and it handles both situations without complaint.

The laptop compartment is very well padded and allows easy access without opening the entire bag, which is very important in airports and cafes. Quick-access front pocket stores the items you need on the go (boarding pass, headphones, sunscreen), the side water bottle pocket can actually hold a decent sized bottle. There are plenty of pockets inside and out for the way I like to pack. I assigned each pocket a task – ID in one pocket, keys in another, headphones in a third – so I’m never looking around for something when I need it quickly. There is another luggage Has straps on the back that allow you to slide it over suitcase If you are traveling with checked baggage, please process luggage.

Laptop sleeve easily fits any size laptop.

The separate bottom compartment is one of my favorite features. It’s designed to keep your shoes isolated from the rest of your bag, but it works equally well with a wet towel after a swim, sweaty gym clothes after a workout, or any mess left in the washing machine when you get home.

Build quality is solid. The zippers are particularly smooth and feel durable, the fabric is tough, and the shoulder straps are padded enough to make carrying a fully loaded backpack comfortable. It doesn’t look like a cheap piece of gear, and it doesn’t feel like one either. It’s also very comfortable to carry on the shoulder when loaded with stuff, something not every bag in its class can achieve.

Probably my favorite feature.

Packing Cubes: A real game changer for lightweight packers

I have resisted packing cubes for decades. This feels like it solves a problem I didn’t have. Now I understand. Blast set comes with Six cubes of different sizeswhich is enough to organize a full week trip or a long weekend trip. I only used a few of these on a recent trip and packed much more efficiently than usual. Everything has a place, nothing is crumpled beyond repair, and finding what I need doesn’t require opening the entire bag.

The compression feature is the real selling point here. You pack the cube, zip it up, and zip up the compression layer to push the air out and flatten everything. It works great, especially for bulky items like hoodies or jeans. There’s definitely a size difference front and rear, and across six cubes, it adds up to a noticeable increase in space in the bag.

They’re also well constructed, with double zippers and a mesh top so you can see what’s inside at a glance. My cactus colorways look great and are easy to spot when you’re rummaging through a dark hotel closet.

I only needed two of these for my last trip

Toiletries bag: small but very clever

this 4.5L hanging toiletry bag This is the part of this body of work that I least care about, but it is the part that impresses me the most. It hangs from a hook, which is great in a small hotel bathroom or anywhere where counter space is limited. It has enough compartments to keep everything organized without turning into a game of Tetris every morning.

The hooks are sturdy, the bag holds its shape well when opened, and there are multiple clear zip pockets for finding things quickly. I have a fairly small kit (skincare, shaving supplies, beard oil) and everything fits nicely, but the bag looks overstuffed. If you bring more than me, there’s still room to grow. The interior is plastic lined, a detail I didn’t know I needed until something leaked. It wipes clean in seconds, the zipper section means you can keep items like your toothbrush isolated from other items, and it’s a small thing that makes a real difference.

It’s the kind of thing you feel a little smug about when you pull out your toiletry bag in the bathroom. Honestly, that’s part of good gear.

How does the suite work together?

In fact, it’s really good. Packaging boxes and toiletry bags slot neatly into the main compartment Backpackeverything has a cohesive look that feels well thought out rather than cobbled together. The whole system encourages you to pack smarter, which is exactly what I want. It’s only been in recent years that my travel philosophy has shifted significantly towards carry-on, and this travel set supports that approach perfectly. If you want to break the habit of overpacking, collections like this—where everything has a designated space and strict limits on what fits—can actually be a useful forcing feature.

I’m a convert to packing cubes

Is it worth it?

Yes, sincerely. The Blast 3-in-1 set strikes the sweet spot between quality and price. For the price, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Backpacks, in particular, are the kind of everyday carry items you’ll carry with you whether you’re heading to the office or the airport, and this kind of versatility is rare at this price point. If you’ve been wanting to upgrade your travel kit, this is a smart place to start.
