It’s been a rough week for cruise ship passengers in Nassau, Bahamas, as another violent altercation occurred at Royal Caribbean’s private club, which is set to open in late December 2025.

Cruise Hive has reported Five cruise ship guests arrested after fight in cruise port area The altercation continued at the police station on Monday, June 8. The fight resulted in property damage and even injuries to police officers.

Another fight recently broke out at the Paradise Island Royal Beach Club across from the Nassau cruise port. The video of the incident is Published on Facebook on June 9although it may have been taken at an earlier date.

The video, which lasts just over a minute, shows at least a dozen guests engaging in violent physical altercations, including slapping, pushing, hair pulling, and punching. Even after one of the guests fell to the ground, they continued to fight each other.

While most of the brawl participants appeared to be women, there were a few men nearby and involved in the fringes of the fight. It’s unclear whether everyone was involved from the start or if some people joined in as the situation escalated.

Music from a nearby DJ covered all of the specific words in the video, but some guests were clearly yelling at each other. To be sure, no polite pleasantries were exchanged.

The fight took place on the south side of the Flamingo Floating Pool and Swim-up Bar, the central gathering place at Paradise Island’s Royal Beach Club. A colorful arch extends over the pool, surrounded by brightly colored chairs and loungers.

As the fight continued, at least three security guards and several Royal Beach Club employees intervened to try to disperse the participants and calm the situation. Some other guests appeared to intervene in an attempt to stop their friend from continuing the scuffle.

Throughout the video, other guests stay away from the area, and one woman quickly moves her young child out of the way.

After the video ends, the fight appears to have calmed down, although a voice is heard saying “get out of here,” which could be either the person who shot the video or another nearby guest choosing not to pursue the incident and distance themselves from the scene.

Since the exact date of the battle is unknown, it is unclear from which ship the guests may have arrived. On Tuesday, June 9, the day the video was released, Ocean Utopia is the only Royal Caribbean cruise ship to visit Nassau.
