Hyatt Announces Pratt & Whitney Leadership Appointments — LODGING

Chicago, Illinois——Hyatt Hotels Corporation Announced that Eduardo Schutte has been named Senior Vice President of Commercial, Hyatt Inclusive Collection. In this role, Schutte will lead commercial strategy for Hyatt Inclusive Collection, overseeing sales, revenue management, brand, marketing, distribution and other commercial functions with a focus on improving commercial performance, driving brand preference and strengthening distribution capabilities. He will report to Hyatt Inclusive Collection president Javier Águila and work closely with Hyatt chief commercial officer Mark Vondrasek.

Schutte, who most recently served as chief commercial officer for Cross Border Xpress, brings more than 30 years of senior commercial leadership experience in global hospitality, travel technology and asset-backed platforms. His career includes leadership roles at Grupo Posadas, TravelClick, LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels, Hilton and Amadeus.

The Hyatt Inclusive Collection currently has more than 150 resorts and nearly 58,000 rooms in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. This scale is complemented by top talent from the most successful all-inclusive companies of the past two decades, brought together through landmark acquisitions such as Apple Leisure Group in 2021 and Playa Hotels & Resorts in 2025, as well as strategic partnerships including Hyatt’s joint venture with Piñero to manage Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts.
