There’s some good news for families planning to visit Bluey’s Wild World at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this summer!
Disney has confirmed that new experiences will continue to use a virtual queuing system through June 1. Then starting June 2, the regular waiting queue will be used. You may expect to wait in long queues before taking the Wildlife Express to the conservation station, and then again when entering the conservation station. Here’s exactly how the process works, what guests should prepare before arriving, and what to expect once you open.

Disney has now confirmed Bluey Wild World at Conservation Station A virtual queuing system will continue to be available through the My Disney Experience app, similar to the system previously used for attractions such as TRON Lightcycle/Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Universe Rewind and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The regular backup line will then be used from 2 June 2026 until further notice. Disney confirmed the change on its website Virtual queue page.

How Bluey virtual queues work
When Bluey’s Wild World is open, guests will need to go through My Disney Experience App. Disney said there will be no traditional wait lines during the initial opening, but it expects them to grow later.
Guests can request to join the virtual queue at two different times each day:
For the 7am virtual queue drop:
- Guests are required to have a valid ticket to Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- If applicable, theme park reservations may also be required
- Visitors do not need to physically enter the park to participate
10am Pickup: Valid admission is still required and you must have entered Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Pro tip: A week or so before visiting Animal Kingdom, check that everyone in your party has the correct tickets, any required park pass reservations, and that you are all connected to your Friends & Family list in the My Disney Experience app.
Remember to pick one up Cool Kids Summer Animal Kingdom Tour Map also.
The backup line will be opened on June 2, 2026
Disney says Bluey’s Wild World won’t have a traditional waiting line at launch. But starting on June 2, you can join the waiting list and board the Wildlife Express to the wild world of Bluey. Expect long queues at train stations and long queues to enter the conservation station to watch Bluey games and songs.
This follows a pattern Disney has employed on several high-demand films recently. Attractions include cosmic rewindTRON Lightcycle/Running, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure All use virtual queues first and then transition to standby access.
Wildlife Express is part of the process
One operational detail that families may overlook is that the Bluey experience is not directly accessible from the main entrance to Animal Kingdom.
To get to Bluey’s Wild World, guests need to take the Wildlife Express Train near Harambe Market in the African section of the park.

Disney says the virtual queue covers not only access to Bluey’s Wild World itself, but also:
- wildlife express
- jumping intersection
- Animal care experience at the conservation station
This effectively means that the protection station area will temporarily operate as a controlled access zone during launch.
