While one of their ships was in the nearest dry dock, Carnival Cruise Line used the 12 days to expand the casino, adding a Heroes Tribute Bar and Lounge and improving teen and family spaces.

Carnival Conquest was born in 12 days dry dock The vessel will return to service today at the Grand Bahama Shipyard.

While the ship received general maintenance while in dry dock, it also received enhanced public and retail spaces. This includes an expanded casino with a redesigned layout, more gaming options and dedicated non-smoking areas.

Carnival Conquest also features the ship’s popular Tribute to Heroes Bar and Lounge.

Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge honors veterans and active duty military. By selling special commemorative glasses and Heroes American Pale Ale in the lounge, Carnival raises funds for national partner Operation Homefront to support its mission of helping military families across America

The ship’s youth club, O2, has added new gaming areas and updated decor, while the WAREHOUSE video arcade has been renovated to provide an upgraded and more interactive gaming experience.

Carnival Conquest will resume three- and four-night cruises from Miami to the Bahamas. Four-night cruises will depart on Mondays, and three-night cruises will depart on Fridays.

Three-night sailings will visit Celebration Island, and four-night sailings will stop at Half Moon Island or Princess Island. Some four-night cruises will visit Nassau and one of the private port stops.
