Omni Hotels & Resorts has opened Omni Hotel Fort Lauderdalemarking the brand’s return to South Florida after more than 20 years.
The waterfront property debuts as part of the city’s expansion of the Broward County Convention Center District. The hotel is connected to the conference center.
The Omni Hotel Fort Lauderdale has 801 guest rooms, including 82 suites, as well as a large pool deck and an 8,500-square-foot Mokara Spa, inspired by Florida’s natural hot springs. The spa features eight treatment rooms, Turkish bath, steam room, courtyard with plunge pool and relaxation lounge.
The resort-style pool deck is just steps away from the spa and fitness center and offers sweeping views of the Intracoastal Waterway, Atlantic Ocean and city.
The hotel’s culinary program includes six food and beverage concepts, including Fair Ketch, a sports bar that also houses the Topgolf Swing Suite; Caribbean-style Reef 76 Kitchen and Bar; Ibis Sky Lounge, billed as a rooftop social venue; Hidden Key lobby bar with indoor and outdoor beachfront seating; Tide Coastal Kitchen, a poolside retreat for hotel guests; and Leeward Market, a café serving specialty coffees, pastries and grab-and-go items. A seventh culinary venue will join the mix in 2026.
The hotel offers 120,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including the 30,000-square-foot Waterway Ballroom, which the hotel says is the largest ballroom in greater Fort Lauderdale. The hotel also features the 15,000-square-foot Port Everglades Ballroom, 47 unique meeting spaces and 27 lounges.
Omni previously operated the Omni International Hotel in Miami, which Now tagged Hilton Miami Downtown.
