Access to some Disney hotel pool areas will be restricted starting this week

Starting this week, pool areas at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels (as well as the main pool at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort) will be restricted during peak guest hours to ensure a more enjoyable and comfortable experience for all resort guests. The following pool areas will be affected (more locations may be added as needed):

  • Fuentes del Morro Pool At Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
  • beach pool Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
  • Big Dipper Pool Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort
  • big blue pool Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
  • Surfboard Bay Pool At Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
  • calypso pool At Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
  • Fantasia Pool At Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
  • Hippie Dippy Pool Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Guests wishing to use these resort pool areas may be asked to present their MagicBand (or World Key Card), provide their room number or present a distributed resort wristband. Guests who are not registered at a resort will be required to use their registered resort pool as outlined in existing Walt Disney World Resort hotel policies.

This temporary change is intended to manage capacity, enhance guest safety and maintain the high level of service expected at Disney resort pools. Please note that these occasional MagicBand/Key to the World checks may not occur on a daily basis.
