Six Flags has found a new chief financial officer.
Six Flags Entertainment announced the appointment of former Hot Topic executive Ash Walia as the company’s new chief financial officer. Walia, who has served as Hot Topic’s chief financial officer since 2021, previously served as chief financial officer of 99 Cents Only Stores and held multiple corporate leadership roles at Starbucks.
Walia succeeds Brian Witherow, who resigned as chief financial officer earlier this month.
In other changes to Six Flags’ executive leadership, the company named Amy Martin Ziegenfuss as its new chief marketing officer. Ziegenfuss joins Six Flags from Carnival Cruise Lines, where he held the same title.
“Marketing is critical to how we engage guests, deepen engagement, increase season pass and membership engagement and build stronger relationships with consumers at our parks,” said John Reilly, president and CEO of Six Flags. “Amy’s experience leading data-driven marketing organizations at major travel and hospitality brands is highly relevant to Six Flags as we strengthen our business strategy and build on our momentum heading into summer 2026.”
Additionally, Six Flags named Christopher Bennett its chief legal and compliance officer.
