This past week was a big one for Disney World; Seven different attractions will open (or officially open) on May 26. many of them are celebrating Cool children’s summerbut others plan to live on long after the event ends on September 8.
One of the biggest new additions is bluey’s wild world exist Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Here, families can play games with Bluey and Bingo, enjoy a dance party, see native Australian animals at Jumping Junction and more. Disney expected it to be so popular that starting on opening day, virtual queue Already in place. However, Now Disney themselves have confirmed that virtual queues will soon be gone!
According to the Walt Disney World website, Bluey’s Wild World’s virtual queue runs until June 1but thereafter the attraction will be open to all visitors at any time during operating hours.
There could be a number of different reasons for this change, but given that it has always been a very popular attraction, we don’t think it’s due to a lack of interest. Instead, we noticed that guests are not allowed to ride the Wildlife Express to Bluey’s Wild World before calling the virtual queue group, but your virtual queue won’t actually be scanned until you arrive at the door for the 14-minute show. This means not only is there a sizable back-up staff available for the show; People were also worried that their virtual queue would technically expire before they could get in, even if they were actually seated and just waiting in line.
also, Part of the queue was inside, which, while good from a temperature perspective, meant people often heard the show 2-3 times before actually seeing it. Meaning, once they finally see it, it’s old to them because the show hasn’t changed at all. We can imagine how tiring this would be, especially since it’s such a loud show!
So what does no more virtual queues mean to you? Well, you no longer have to wake up at 7am for your first descent or try again at 10am, but it does mean We could see the lines getting really long for the Wildlife Express and/or the actual show. Currently, the trains can’t accommodate queues that are too long, so we’re really curious to see how the cast will manage it if/when the queue gets longer. Your best bet may be to actually rappel this attraction, or wait until later in the daybut keep in mind that many others may have the same idea!
